OurHome studio is exploding with high energy, new product, and new goals. After a year of illness, Joshua is finally feeling good. We have entered 2016 at a gallop.

Carol Englehaupt and Josh E have gone public with their artwork at www.fineartamerica.com

Joshua’s public profile is at: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/joshua-englehaupt

Available from Josh E is: Mystic Rider hi resJosh Englehaupt - Lady by the WaterWinter Maidenwinter window croppedIn addition to the art, Joshua is continuing to learn how to talk using the tobii/dynavox computer. in March we’ve been invited to speak at a school and this appearance will mark the first time Joshua has ever been in public using his own voice. It should be interesting and if things go as planned I’ll have a video clip of the occasion.

Next month, I’ll share the artwork of the other half of OurHome Studio. Carol Englehaupt is also expanding her contributions to OurHome Studio. So far, 2016 is proving to be a very good year.

So glad to find this. My daughter is 18 yrs old and has SMA. She has a Eye gaze Tobii and is in the process of learning how to use it. She would really love to learn to do art using the eye gaze. She does things now with just her thumb on the track pad of her lap top. We would so love any advice you guys have. I just love Joshua’s art work he has created. He is very talented!

Thank you for stopping by. The eye gaze has change Joshua’s life and that of our family. Joshua didn’t get the system until he was 33 so he’s been in the process of becoming verbal. This winter he has a tutor that will help him build his communication skills. He is writing picture books so his focus right now is on writing. The art program is in the future. He has to build his skills levels layer by layer. We will be documenting his journey on this website. I hope you stop by often.
